Internal Quality Assurance Cell

IQAC was established in the year 2001. Since then it has been functioning for the progress of the Institute. It stimulates the academic environment for promotion of quality of teaching-learning process and research in the college. This can be reflected in the various grants received by the institute. IQAC encourages the departments for innovations and best practices. It studies SWOC of the institute tries to overcome the weaknesses. The plan of action is chalked out by the IQAC in the beginning of the year towards quality enhancement and the outcome achieved is reviewed at the end of the year.

Action Plan for the year 2017-18

A plan of action is prepared by college at the beginning of the year, giving thrust to quality enhancement. Due attention is given to the expectation of all stakeholders. Programs are chalked out to address their demands as well as to improve their performance.

  • Preparation of Academic Calendar for the year 2017-18
  • Preparation and submission of IIQA for the 3rd Cycle as per the Revised Framework of NAAC.
  • Formation of criteria wise committees for SSR preparation
  • Preparation and submission of online SSR.
  • Organization of NSS camp in adopted village.
  • Organization of extension activities like Blood Donation, Health Check UP, Haemoglobin Checkup Camps for Girls.

  • Preparation of academic calendar for the year 2016-17.
  • Updating relevant documents of the Departmental activities.
  • IQAC meetings with the staff and stakeholders for the preparation of 3rd Cycle of NAAC Reaccreditation
  • Organization of seminars and invited talks to have interaction with scientists and renowned academic personalities.
  • Strengthening of infrastructure by using UGC and other grants
  • UGC-CSIR/GATE coaching to be strengthened
  • Introduction of M.Sc. Course in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry and Electronics.
