Department of Computer Science

Computer literacy has become essential in the modern world therefore every graduate student is expected to have working knowledge of computer hence our “Latthe Education Society” has decided to start computer science subject for B.Sc. course. Department of Computer Science was established in the year June 2010-2011. The Computer Science is one of the optional subjects of B.Sc. course Every Year more than twenty students were passed B.Sc. These alumni are placed in various fields such as computer firms like cognizant solutions, Infosys, List Software Pvt. Ltd. etc . Many of the our students are get admission to P.G. like M.Sc. Computer science, M.C.A. and M.B.A. etc. The department has well equipped laboratory. The Laboratory is enriched with sophisticated and advanced equipments like Intel i3 Machines, Separate Linux and Windows Server, L.C.D. Projector etc. At present Four Faculty members and two administrative staff are working in the department. The faculty member has attended Various Seminars and Workshops. Department was Organizes workshop on ” Andriod Technology”, VB.Net Technology, Projects etc. Department also Organizes three-four days study tour for B.Sc. III year Students.

Objectives

Maintain up to date knowledge of the evolving computer science landscape.
Support and encourage faculty participation at workshop / seminars.
To be able to work in groups and appreciate the dynamic and collaborative nature of problem solving.
To successfully apply the fundamentals of computer science to solve software oriented computer problems.
Encourage the students for P.G. entrance exams like MSc. Computer and M.C.A
To be able to work for campus placement of the students
